GENERAL OVERVIEW
As we enter the BUILD phase you can expect the weights and rest periods to increase and the reps to decrease. This PHASE focuses on building muscular strength. The transition from our Volume to Build Phase uses progressive-overload by gradually increasing the weight from week to week, ensuring we minimise risk while the loads continue to increase.
STRENGTH: MOVE & PERFORM
Throughout the BUILD PHASE in our strength based programs, Move and Perform focus on developing muscular strength. Each week you can expect to see the weight progressively increase and the reps decrease. Greater rest periods allows movement quality to remain a major focus, while the session intensity and work capacity is now achieved through load.
In BUILD, our Perform crew can expect the increase in weight to be delivered through percentage manipulation based on their BASELINE 1RM and also through recommendations of RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion). While Move focuses solely on RPE guidelines. This allows the individual to judge their own lifts and personalise the load to suit them in any particular session.
CONDITIONING: ENGINE & SPRINT
With the drop in total volume across Move & Perform, we ramp up the working time across our Sweat Sessions to ensure our work capacity continues to progress throughout the BUILD PHASE. The work-to-rest ratio is increased in our Sweat Sprint sessions which sees a reduction in rest periods, while our Sweat Engine sessions carry over the pacing strategies gained from the Volume Phase with longer efforts and the introduction of ‘chipper style’ session formats.

VOLUME PHASE - WEEK 1 - WEEK 3
The REVL Program is designed with longevity in mind, which is why the 3 week Volume Phase lays the foundation for progression. This PHASE focuses on hypertrophy and muscle definition... AKA building lean muscle mass! High reps with low weight allows technique refinement to reduce injury risk, and muscular endurance development to unlock more reps before succumbing to fatigue.
STRENGTH: MOVE & PERFORM
Throughout volume in our strength based programs, Move & Perform that run side by side, you can expect to focus on muscular hypertrophy, increasing muscle mass whilst also increasing muscular endurance.
With both compound and accessory rep ranges averaging 10-16 in Move and 8-12 in Perform, you can expect low-moderate loads. As the 3 weeks progress reps decrease and the load begins to build.
CONDITIONING: ENGINE & SPRINT
Throughout volume in our cardio based programs Sweat Engine & Sweat Sprint expect formats that compliment Move & Perform without sacrificing their intent.
SPRINT is focused around shorter and more intense efforts with longer set rest periods, tapping into maximum anaerobic power but reduced overall volume to allow recovery from the day prior.
ENGINE focuses on building the aerobic base, understanding the importance of pacing strategies to lay a foundation to be built upon as the block progresses
